Summer Camps
Our summer camps offer comfortable blend of both summer fun and learning. Utilizing topics that are seldom touched in a typical curriculum, children are given the opportunity to push their language skills and toy with interesting concepts at the same time. This summer we are offering two full-day camps.
Wilderness Survival Camp
July 8 - July 12
9AM - 2PM
Pack your sunscreen and bring your backpack because this SPANISH IMMERSION summer camp is designed for those that love an adventure! Learn to filter water, build a shelter, forage for food and more. This camp will be located near Havenroot Camp in Veneta where campers will have a chance to tromp acres of trailed woods.
To be able to fully participate in this summer camp, campers will need to be able to follow directions and comprehend everyday language in Spanish. This program is well suited for any child capable of hiking 30-45 minutes at a time.
Location: Location is within 10 minutes of Manzanita Bilingual School. Information will be provided for participants upon registration.

International Food Camp
August 5 - August 9
9AM - 2PM

This BILINGUAL art camp is designed for kids from Preschool - Grade 5 (those going into grade 6 next year). Take your tastebuds on a trip around the world! Every day we will be traveling to a new continent to learn about the culture and test our culinary ability by cooking a variety of foods from around the globe! To participate in this camp an interest in the Spanish language is suggested as students will receive exposure to the Spanish language and will hear children speaking and interacting in Spanish.
